shows the Leonardo processing the output of an Uno. The Leonardo is on the left and doing shifting ring modulation. The Uno is on the right takes the difference between two LDRs to give tones from a 13 tone scale called the Bohlen-Pierce scale. The Bohlen-Pierce Scale is a chromatic scale whose tones are separated by the 13th root of 3. A chromatic scale is one where all notes are in a series with fixed tempered intervals. Study shows that the decision regarding consonance and dissonance using the Bohlen-Pierce scale is, in part, a function of musical training. It may not be art...but at least it is unique!
